With over 30 years experience as a designer, Jane’s past client list includes: Country Casual, Fenwick, Liberty and Missoni A sound understanding of the abstract, geometric and traditional paisley has enabled her idea with these references in mind to develop exclusive printed mohair, silk scarves and furnishings for a number of established UK and international clients.

The present collection of scarves, wraps, mufflers and stoles are sewn as swirls of colour and texture, stitched as cascades of threads and fabrics. Cobweb fine silk and mohair yarn compliments chunky wool and alpaca boucle in a cat’s cradle of shapes. The yarns themselves are twisted by hand and with an emphasis on recycling; reclaimed materials are incorporated in the whole.

These elegant pieces are soft to wear, gentle on the eye and produced to a high standard. Distinguished by a refined sense of colour, not only are they simultaneously subtle, bold and vibrant, but also rich in texture. These are some of the important elements that enhance the quality in Jane’s work.

Drawing inspiration from delicate floral forms, a selection of corsages, brooches and tiny bags decorated with beads, compliments this range.

An insatiable need to explore ‘…what happens if…’ was the driving force behind the design and production of these unusual and individually made pieces.
